The Bacchus Foundation
Formed in 1955, The Bacchus Foundation is the oldest philanthropic, young professional’s organization in Kansas City. Our core mission is to connect young professionals, while raising funds for worthy Kansas City charities.
This year, The Bacchus Foundation is supporting two local organizations who aim to help children and families in the Kansas City area.
Sleepyhead Beds has delivered more than 5,000 donated beds to Kansas City metro area children in need of a comfortable place to sleep. That has given Kansas City children over 3 million restful nights of sleep! These beds are recycled and delivered free of charge to families in need. Sleephead Beds is the only organization in the Kansas City area who is focused solely on this mission.
Phoenix Family offers programs to more than 5,100 residents living throughout Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. They provide a broad range of services tailored to the individual person in need. Their programs enable people to stay in their homes and with their families while they towards attaining self-sufficiency.
Along with our more formal affairs like the Bacchas Ball in the Spring and Fall Bash – we partner with area hot spots to host monthly happy hours. A portion of your happy hour tab is donated to The Foundation Beneficiaries and we usually have a donation drive for the organizations.
